What Happens When Supreme Court Justices Lie on the Record?

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

  1. What happens when a past President incites an insurrection, steals and hides classified documents, commits business frauds many times, sexually assaults women, lies constantly and would sell out anything and anyone for a dollar………nothing.

What happens to the people who support him….

The wealthy get tax breaks and easing of environmental regulations, the republican politicians get to stay in his favor and stay in power, and the ignorant common man will get royalty screwed one day in the future, as will their children and grandchildren.

The people down in the middle or closer to the bottom always pay the price because nothing is done up above them. And the trump supporter brings it on themselves, but we pay the price too.

  2. Highly partisan, sham court. Complete lack of ethics. Meddling with cases in partisan ways. Un-fucking touchable. Un-fucking removable. High on the smell of their own farts, they think that much of themselves. But they sure look down on the rest of us, unless we’re R ass kissing suck ups, right wing idiots, with a bible up our ass.

Absolutely pathtic. Shameful. No longer a court of integrity, if it ever was… Seems like it might have been 20 years ago, but no more.

    • Hmmm. I take it you don’t care for (most of) the folks on today’s Supreme Court … 😈

      • Gee, I’m surprised you took it that way! LOL!

I knew when they did it, we, that is anyone who thought the rights had just a few years ago were nice to have, that it wouldn’t take long to have them trampled. And this court is a long way from done…

  3. Well, cops are allowed to lie. Obviously, anyone in authority can lie & the rest of us can’t. I don’t know why this is surprising.

    • Cops can be caught and prosecuted. (I know; I live in Chicago.) The SCOTUS liars have no “checks and balances.”

      • In NY, they’re allowed to lie.

        • Don’t get me wrong. In Chicago, lying is assumed as a first position anytime the police get into a dicey situation. It is only when body cams and cellphone videos get released do lies become apparent and, if there is a big enough reaction, are punished. Lying police have definitely not gone out of fashion here.

          • Actually (I just looked this up) it’s not just NY, it’s every state in the union; this is constitutional law, allowed by the Supreme Court ~ the police are allowed to lie during an interrogation (the wording was “use deception techniques”) but they are not allowed “to coerce an innocent person to confess to a crime they didn’t commit”

            HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

            • Lying to a perp is still a Christian thing, don’t you know. If it is okay to lie for Jesus then lying to a perp has got to be okay. (Of course, they don’t know that a person is a perp, but lying to find out is part of the plan.)
