No, that is not the meaning of life according to Douglas Adams. It is a number that popped up on a new feature on Amazon.com, a feature which lists all of the books you have bought from them.
4582 . . . books! It states I have been a customer since 1998, but still. (I have been with Amazon so long that I received perks from them for being a “good customer,” e.g. insulated coffee mugs, pens, etc.)
I wonder if I need a 12-step program.
Some of those books I have bought but not yet read. Some I started and decided not to continue. Some of have read multiple, up to many, times.
But still . . . <sigh>.
