In a preview to today’s eclipse of the Sun an image of the eclipse appeared in the sand of our neighborhood beach! It has to be a supernatural event because it predicts that today is the day of the eclipse. Praise the Lord!
(Yes, I am being sarcastic.)
Now, now, Mak. You have to appreciate such “spiritual” things lest you get smited.

We were hoping to drive to Ark. for totality, but between iffy weather and having critters that need to be tended to, we decided to stay home. Will have 97% coverage, that ain’t bad. But it’s not totality.
If you have never experienced totality, it’s worth the trouble to get there. Every second is mesmerizing, and then it’s gone.
If weather cooperates here, and that is iffy, I’ll try to get some pics.
We “had” eclipse glasses for the last one, now have turned the house upside down and can’t find them. I have a telescope with a full aperture solar filter I’ll swap between visual observations and taking pictues on it, and another telescope I can use to project the image on to a white board. Also have 2 welding helmets…
