  3. Some clever photo-shopping! And not all that far from what could be a very genuine picture …

    • That idiot Trump admitted the documents were mixed in the boxes with golf balls and articles of clothing, connecting himself via evidence to the crimes. The guy just can’t keep his mouth shut.

  4. What I find even more scary is that the FBI apparently found file folders marked ‘top secret’ that had no documents in them. Where did they go?

Every time I read another article about this case it seems to get worse.

    • Trump wants to make money off of everything. How much did he make from the 43 Classified banners that were empty?

Box/Container from Office [There’s more but I didn’t copy all of it.]

There were 43 Empty Folders with “CLASSIFIED” BANNERS
15 US Government Documents with SECRET Classification Markings
7 US Government Documents with TOP SECRET Classification Markings
69 US Government Document/Photographs without Classification Markings
99 Magazines/Newspapers/Press Articles and Other Printed Media dated between 01/2017-10-2018
28 Empty Folders labeled “Return to Staff Secretary/Military Aide

      • This is a key question: why did he take these documents (it would have been easier to leave them behind and let others clean up his mess)? And What did he plan to do with them? (Certainly Mr. Trump is not a reader so he didn’t abscond with them to have a little light reading available when he couldn’t fall asleep at night.)

        • I am also curious as to why he took all that stuff. As you said, he isn’t someone who would read reports for fun. In fact, from what his aides have said he didn’t read anything, really. Everything had to be simplified with lots of pictures. I get the feeling the fellow was barely literate at all. His public comments, his tweets, his speeches, etc. indicate he has the vocabulary of a 7 year old so obviously he didn’t take it to read himself to sleep. So why did he take this stuff?

          1. it contained material that would have been incrimiating to him personally and possibly lead to his arrest and conviction but there was too much of it to flush down the toilet.

          2. It contained material that would have been useful in “persuading” officials in the US government and other governments to cooperate with future business plans of his. I.e. blackmail. (There are allegations that some of the material pertained to less than savory activities by the president of France, for example.)

          3. It contained material that could have resulted in financial gain for him personally if put up for sale.

          4. A combination of 1, 2 and 3.

          5. He was preparing for the next toilet paper shortage.

          Take your pick.

          • I think he thought that since he was president all of that stuff belonged to him. I can’t imagine his thinking was more sophisticated than that.
