Running alongside the stars thinking of the changes of one element into another? Marcus Aurelius (12-180 CE) knew that stars were the furnaces in which the elements were made, transformed one into another? WTF?

So, Hans Bethe’s 1967 Nobel Prize in Physics for figuring out how nuclear fusion reactions fueled the Sun wasn’t original research?
