For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Men will arise from among your own selves, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. (Acts 20:29–30)
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles. And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:12–15)
But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction. Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned. In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber. (2 Peter 2:1–3)
Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things which I say? (Luke 6:46)
Can scripture be referring to anyone else than Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans? They claim to be Christians but don’t follow the teachings of Jesus. Scripture tells us to pray in private, yet the MAGA Republicans want to post the Ten Commandments in every school room. And Ron DeSantis! How can he be anyone other than one of the many Antichrists?
Thing is, Steve, most of these folk have no clue of what’s in the bible … even less so this particular passage. And even if they do, they would NEVER associate it with their version of a savior.
It continues to amaze me how so many are ignorant of what their own holy book contains. There are some VERY pertinent passages related to the current day (as you illustrated), but they either don’t know about them or insist they were only relevant to the times. And yet … other passages they are QUICK to quote when referring to human behavior and the need for “salvation.”

Here we are . . . two atheists gob snacked that Christians have no idea what they believe or why, so it falls to us to educate them .

Educate them?? Surely you jest. Most believers are so ensconced within their beliefs they will fight anyone tooth and nail who tries to “educate” them. (Even a brief perusal of social media should confirm this!)

If our saying it is written in the Bible that Trump is evil, anyone with reason and logic already know that.

Trump, the one who has done more evil than all who lived before him, has declared that he is second to Jesus in greatness. [BARF!]
……………………………………..
Using his own Truth Social platform (he remains banned from Twitter and Facebook), Mr Trump “re-truthed” a post by another Truth Social user which read: “Jesus is the Greatest. President @realDonaldTrump is the second greatest”.
1 Kings 14:9
9 You have done more evil than all who lived before you. You have made for yourself other gods, idols made of metal; you have aroused my anger and turned your back on me.
