You two (JZ and Steve) be extremely grateful you don’t live in the deep putrid swamp of FOX News country here in central Texas—barring Austin & Travis County—and now an increase in more mountains of NewsMax- 💩! It’s a living HELL here for a Freethinking Humanist and political Independent. 🤦♂️
Just imagine, then multiply that by 3 and compiled by every place of business here, every grocery store, street corner, gas stations, and churches, etc, etc, ad nauseum. Then you both may have an idea what I’m drowning in. 😒

One of my sisters, who lives just one state away, has dumped Fox News as being too wishy washy and has moved on to NewsMax. And I thought things couldn’t get worse. At what point does this nonsense bottom out?

It appears there IS no “bottom” to their non-existent journalism and the thousands (millions?) of gullible Americans who gladly swallow all of it merely because it is confirmation bias and dopamine inducing for their self-perpetuating neurosis.

What is so sad/disheartening/frustrating is that the Faux News viewers BELIEVE this crap! And will carry it to the ends of the earth (along with their rifle slung over their shoulder).
