An Open Letter to Anti-Vaxxers

As background, there has been for over a year now a global pandemic causing a considerable number of “extra deaths” and even more hospitalizations, discomfort, and pain. The number of total COVID-19 deaths is about 3 million or about 7 million depending on whose numbers you are using. Almost a million of those are in the US. (The flu typically kills 60,000 people or so in the US each flu seasons, so this disease has the flu beat all to hell and gone.)

In any case, no matter where this disease came from, it has caused many deaths and apparently also has inflicted long term symptoms upon a large number of people (my brother-in-law being one of them).

Under political pressure and by providing governmental funding, vaccines were developed in record time that have been proved somewhat effective. They significantly reduce the number of people getting the disease at all, and those who do anyway (94% effectiveness is 6% ineffectiveness), rarely get hospitalized or get the long term repercussions, or die from the disease, so these vaccines seems to be a good deal. In my neck of the woods, these vaccines were provided free of charge.

But many people like you have refused to get vaccinated, mostly because you look at it as an infringement of your personal freedom. Most of the rest of us consider this a bullshit excuse. All y’all haven’t complained that driving on the right side of the highway is an abridgement of your personal freedom. Nor paying taxes. There are many things we do for the common good. Childless citizens pay taxes to have other people’s children educated, as another example.

The only way I can convey what this sounds like to many people like me is through scenarios. So, let me “reframe” your refusal.

Scenario 1
Your ocean liner has sunk and you are floating in shark infested waters. I am in a lifeboat and reach out and offer you a hand, to get you into the boat to safety, out of the water. But you refuse because this is an infringement of your personal liberties. In the boat, you will not be able to choose where you go, with whom you travel, and a great many other things. So, you refuse my hand and stay in the water.

Scenario 2
It is the early 1800’s and you have packed your family and all of your goods into a Conestoga wagon and have four oxen pulling your wagon from St. Louis to Oregon were you will make a new life for you and your family. Along the trail, you see a wagon train, off in the distance, traveling roughly the same route you are and soon a lone rider approaches from that direction. The rider identifies himself as a member of that train and asks if you are headed the same way they are. When you say you are, they offer to let you join the train because there is safety in numbers. You refuse because this would infringe upon your personal freedom to go wherever and at whatever rate you choose. The rider shakes his head and rides back to the wagon train.

Scenario 3
You are in Europe during the peak of World War 2 and you are almost surrounded by Nazi troops. Some allied troops who are retreating from the oncoming Nazis offer to take you with them and protect you, but you refuse because that would infringe upon your personal liberties to be the “baggage” of some band of soldiers. Being ordered around by soldiers is not your idea of freedom.

None of these scenarios include an actual surrender of your personal liberty but I’ll tell you what will eliminate all of your personal liberties! Getting eaten by sharks will do the trick. Or being killed by Comancheros out on the plains. Or being killed by the oncoming Nazis, except your womenfolk that they will keep for the use of their soldiers.

We all possess personal liberties, part of which we surrender to society collectively. You seem to not want to surrender any of your personal liberties, in which case you should not receive the benefits of doing so, things like police protection, the protections of the laws and courts, public transportation systems, the electrical grid, water and sewage distribution systems, etc. You don’t get the benefits of society without some sacrifices. (If you think you are paying your own way, think again.)

Some of you claim that you are not getting vaccinated because your haven’t yet done your own research, or worse, you did your own research which came up negative. This is also a bullshit claim, because the odds that you are capable of doing vaccine research is almost zero. I am not talking about the laboratory work, but the reading of the mountains of literature that apply while being able to understand it. What you call “research” is reading or listening to what are called “news” publications. The people writing those articles are also not qualified to explain things to you.

Most of what I read in such reports is nonsense and worse. Even if the reporters are reputable, they will publish fragmentary reports instead of saying “there isn’t a coherent picture yet so we can’t report to you. So you get a little bit of this and a little bit of that, some of which is wrong because it hasn’t been verified and, most of it is premature which you have no way of evaluating, some of which is wild ass opinion used to sell news reports.

Plus, do you seek out reliable sources or just take what comes to you from Facebook and your local news broadcasts?

I suggest that what is keeping you from the relative safety of getting vaccinated is fear. This is understandable. But some the fears expressed are beyond the pale, for example, there are microchips in the vaccines so your location can be traced. If you were paying attention at all, currently if you have a smartphone near you (it doesn’t even have to be on or being used) your location can be determined in an instant. In any case, you have never been hard to find. Now we are told that “they” are hiding the vaccine in salad dressing . . . as if salads were your favorite foods. And one claim is that the vaccines will prevent young people from getting pregnant, as if that has ever happened in all of history.

You need to ask yourself what is the source of your fear. From whom did it come? Fear is being sold as a commodity to use as a political weapon and unscrupulous people have no problem in making you afraid of something at the drop of a hat. These same people have terrorized old white ladies through the fear of having their homes invaded by young black men. As if young black men would like nothing better than raping an old white lady (Eww!). The statistics tell us clearly that old white women are almost never raped by young black men, so the fear is unfounded . . . but is useful to racist politicians who are serving racist financial backers. Ironically, the same people that created this false fear will tell you that most black crime is black-on-black crime. It used to be the case that “you couldn’t have it both ways,” but in modern politics they are showing that you can.

I think the people who are deliberately promoting vaccine fear fraudulently should be strung up by there thumbs and whipped to within an inch of their lives. They are endangering you . . . and me . . . for political gain.

Go around and ask people what happened to them when they got vaccinated. That is research you can do. See if they began to be followed by black helicopters or men in black suits. See for yourself whether your fears are real or not. Living a life of fear sucks the joy out of life and doing it for someone else, someone you don’t even know, is foolhardy.

  1. This refusal of the COVID vaccines is NOT because of an infringement on our freedoms. THE VACCINES ARE CAUSING DEATHS AND ILLNESSES.
Two top Pathologists reveal astonishing results of investigation into ten deaths linked to the Covid-19 Vaccines – “We’ve never seen anything like it…”
On Monday September 20th, two top pathologists held a press conference in Germany to reveal their findings of an investigation into ten deaths linked to the Covid-19 vaccines, and what they revealed is shocking.

The press conference took place at the Institute of Pathology in Reutinglen, Germany; of which Professor Arne Burkhardt has been in charge of for over eighteen years. Professor Burkhardt held the press conference alongside another experienced pathologist, Professor Walter Yang who has headed a private institute specialising in lung pathology for the past 35 years, among other appointments.

In collaboration with several other anonymous pathologists, Professor Arne Burkhardt and Professor Walter Yang investigated ten deaths that had occurred after the person had received the Covid-19 vaccine, and this is what they found…

Of the ten deaths, the two Professors confirmed that they concluded five were very likely due to the Covid-19 vaccine, two were probably related to the vaccine, one was inconclusive, and two they concluded had no relation to the Covid-19 vaccine….

However, what they found astonishing, is the similarities among the deaths that they concluded were linked to vaccination.

In three cases, they found rare autoimmune diseases; one of them so rare that they only discovered it when they looked closely at the digitised image.

They were Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune-triggered hypothyroidism; leukoclastic vasculitis, an inflammatory reaction in the capillaries that leads to skin bleeding; and Sjögren’s syndrome, an inflammation of the salivary and lacrimal glands.

Although deaths with suspected vaccine reactions are far from a representative sample of the population, three autoimmune diseases in a total of ten is a strikingly high rate.

The most striking finding, however, related to lymphocytes.

“The lymphocytes are running amok in all organs,” Professor Lang called it.

Not only did he show accumulations of lymphocytes in a wide variety of tissues, from the heart muscle to the kidney, liver, spleen, and uterus; he also showed images in which the tissue was massively attacked as a result, and a whole series of lymphocyte follicles, which are small, developing lymph nodes in completely the wrong place, for example in lung tissue…

“Our task is to educate people about risks and side effects,” he said of the goal of his work. A task that would actually have to be fulfilled by institutions such as the Paul Ehrlich Institute in the case of experimental vaccines with emergency approval…

    • So, some obscure disease conflict with the vaccine. And this outweighs the tens of thousands of lives saved? What are the odds that anyone will have these obscure diseases that make the vaccines counterindicated? Compare that with the odds that people will die without the vaccines. Don’t just run around and say that the vaccine kills people. (So does water, but we haven’t banned it yet.)

      • There are many sites that tell the truth. You just aren’t aware of them. VAERS, according to a Harvard study, only reports 1-10% of those suffering from adverse events or deaths. Therefore, the accurate number is MUCH higher.
More Than 726,000 COVID Vaccine Injuries Reported to VAERS
VAERS data released Friday by the CDC included a total of 726,965 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 15,386 deaths and 99,410 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and Sept. 17, 2021…

Dr. Jessica Rose, a viral immunologist and virologist said there are clear risk signals emerging from VAERS data — with a 1000% increase in the total number of adverse events for 2021 so far.

Rose pointed out that as of Aug. 27, there were 1,500 adverse reactions occurring per million fully injected people, and 1 in 660 individuals reporting immunological adverse events associated with the COVID products. She said underreporting was not considered in the data.

Dr. Joseph Fraiman, an emergency medicine physician in New Orleans, said during his presentation to the FDA’s safety panel that no clinical evidence exists to disprove claims the COVID vaccines are harming more people than they save.

Steve Kirsch, founder of the COVID-19 Early Treatment Fund, using data from four different analyses, said even if the vaccines had 100% protection, it still means we kill two people to save one life.

Physician ‘horribly injured’ after Pfizer vaccine pleads with U.S. agencies for help

In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Danice Hertz, a 64-year-old physician who is “horribly ill” and “incapacitated” after getting Pfizer’s COVID vaccine, claims U.S. health agencies are ignoring thousands of adverse events…

    • Important note: Out of ten deaths … FIVE were very likely due to the Covid-19 vaccine, two were probably related to the vaccine, one was inconclusive, and two they concluded had no relation to the Covid-19 vaccine.”

Sorry, but these statistics simply aren’t convincing. Yes, there are those in the population whose bodies, for various and sundry reasons, are unable to tolerate the Coronavirus vaccine. But it is NOT the vaccine itself that is killing people. If it were, there would not just be FIVE that died in this scenario, but all TEN of the individuals … along with the millions of others who have thus far been vaccinated.

      • Last night, Project Veritas released the first video of its COVID vaccine investigative series today featuring an interview with U.S. Health and Human Services [HHS] insider, Jodi O’Malley, who works as a Registered Nurse at the local Indian Medical Center in Phoenix.

O’Malley told Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe about what has been going on at her federal government facility. She recorded her HHS colleagues discussing their concerns about the new COVID vaccine to corroborate her assertions. Some of the quotes are startling and almost unbelievable.

Watch the video below, which had over 3.4 MILLION views in the first 24 hours after being released. It’s likely that it will be taken down soon, so watch it while you can.

          • Of course there will be people/media that call out the truth as lies. Drug companies and their investors prefer people like you, who believe whatever they put out.
German Chief Pathologist Sounds Alarm on Fatal Covid Vaccine Injuries: “Jab is Cause of Death in 30-40% of Autopsies of Recently Vaccinated”
The director of the Pathological Institute of the University of Heidelberg, Peter Schirmacher, has carried out over forty autopsies on people who died within two weeks of receiving a Covid-19 vaccine and has expressed alarm over his findings.

Schirmacher stated that 30 to 40 per cent of people he examined died from the vaccine and that in his opinion, the frequency of fatal consequences of vaccinations is “underestimated.”

Following his findings, Schirmacher has called for more autopsies of vaccinated people to further determine whether the vaccines are linked to deaths. He has warned that the high number of unreported cases of vaccination deaths is partially due to the fact that “pathologists do not notice anything about most of the patients who die after and possible from a vaccination.”…

Despite the criticism, Schirmacher did receive support from his own ranks, and the Federal Association of German Pathologists stated that more autopsies of vaccinated people who died within a certain time frame after vaccination should be performed.

The head of the “Autopsy Working Group” in this association wanted to make general practitioners and health authorities aware of this. Basically, doctors of the patients who die within a few days or weeks post-vaccination should apply for an autopsy in case of doubt or the health authorities should take action,

The Federal Association of Pathologists already requested this in March in a letter to Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU), but it went unanswered.

Of course, it’s worth noting that Schirmacher’s warning could cause various pharmaceutical companies to lose billion dollars worth of long-term business, which explains why his findings have been scrutinised and tarnished by the pro-vaccine agenda.

However, the reputation and seriousness of Schirmacher cannot be ignored.

Schirmacher himself is already leading an autopsy project on people who have died from Covid-19, which is subsidised by the state. He himself then expanded the focus and began performing autopsies on more than 40 deceased vaccinated people. Whilst his results only represent a small sample size, it is a worrying representation of a bigger picture: 30 to 40 per cent died from vaccination itself. The pathologist cited “rare, severe side effects of the vaccination – such as cerebral vein thrombosis or autoimmune diseases.”

In response to critics, Schirmacher denied a lack of competence, stating: “The colleagues are definitely wrong because they cannot assess this specific question competently.” Additionally, the director said that he is not trying to fearmonger and is not opposed to vaccinations, as he himself has received the jab.

It won’t be a surprise to see in the coming weeks Schirmacher’s reputation completely torn to shreds in the media, online and in the scientific and medical community.

  4. Every medication and every vaccine will have side effects that are harmful to a small number of people. Just read the side effects listed on any medication and it will scare the crap out of you. Even surgical procedures are not 100% effective – as an example a simple procedure for A-Fib is about 70% effective. A more complex procedure has about the same rate of effectiveness, but may last longer.

What has happened with the anti-vaccine community is when some people do have negative reactions, the information is made larger in impact than it really is. By a large margin vaccines are doing what they are intended to do. We need to keep in mind the Hippocratic Oath of doctors to “do no harm.” Five active anti-vaccine radio hosts can no longer share their concerns as they have died from COVID-19 in the past six weeks.

So, yes some are impacted negatively, but they are far outweighed by those who are helped. If we are not going to take some thing because of bad outcome potential, then we should stop taking all medication because the risk exists.

I encourage people take the vaccine as my family and extended family has done. To my personal knowledge of about fifty extended family members, we have had a few headaches, a little soreness, but are no worse for wear.

    • Here is one main reason that doctors don’t speak out about what they know vs. what is put out by the mainstream media. Some doctors have received death threats and many are afraid of losing their jobs. Speaking the truth carries a burden that only the bravest can carry.
Joint Statement from the American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, and American Board of Pediatrics on Dissemination of Misinformation by Board Certified Physicians about COVID-19
American Board of Internal Medicine; American Board of Family Medicine; American Board of Pediatrics
      Sep 09, 2021, 08:30 ET

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), which supports its member state medical licensing boards, has recently issued a statement saying that providing misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine contradicts physicians’ ethical and professional responsibilities, and therefore may subject a physician to disciplinary actions, including suspension or revocation of their medical license. We at the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) support FSMB’s position. We also want all physicians certified by our Boards to know that such unethical or unprofessional conduct may prompt their respective Board to take action that could put their certification at risk.

Expertise matters, and board-certified physicians have demonstrated that they have stayed current in their field. Spreading misinformation or falsehoods to the public during a time of a public health emergency goes against everything our Boards and our community of board-certified physicians stand for. The evidence that we have safe, effective and widely available vaccines against COVID-19 is overwhelming. We are particularly concerned about physicians who use their authority to denigrate vaccination at a time when vaccines continue to demonstrate excellent effectiveness against severe illness, hospitalization and death…

      • From Rationalwiki:

The American College of Pediatricians (ACP) is a wingnut collection of pediatricians who espouse a socially conservative and “family values” agenda in opposition to the pediatric mainstream that, in their view, has a liberal bias. The SPLC has described it as a hate group.[1]

They adopted the strategy of picking a very official-sounding name so that conservative information outlets could cite them and still sound smart, and to provide confusion to unsuspecting people. For those looking for a more mainstream body of pediatricians, one can turn to the similarly-named American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), which is the group the ACP split from.

                • Sorry, John. My friend was specifically commenting about the people who believe getting vaccinated is ‘safe and effective’. He and I both know that they are neither.

Believing what isn’t a fact is making billions for drug companies and their wealthy supporters. It is commonly assumed that the “vaccines’ will help keep people safe and not become infected most of the time. What actually happens is that the ‘vaccines” put spike proteins into your whole body and the spike proteins will overcome your natural immune system. When you get a different disease you will have nothing with which to fight that attack on your body.
It is not an IF but a WHEN this will happen to everyone who gets the “vaccine”. They are not vaccines but it is a convenient name that buffs people into thinking they are being somehow protected.

              • Huge global media campaign promotes lies against safe and effective Ivermectin
                Mon Sep 13, 2021
                Story at a glance:

KFOR news ran a fake story in which a doctor claimed emergency rooms in Oklahoma were inundated with people who used horse ivermectin paste as a treatment for COVID-19 and overdosed
The story turned out to be pure fiction, as no such cases have occurred. Still, KFOR has not retracted the story or issued a correction
The idea that ivermectin is a horse dewormer that poses a lethal risk to humans is a deceptive narrative aimed at dissuading people from using a safe and effective drug against COVID-19
While ivermectin is used as a dewormer in animals, it is also a human drug, approved by the FDA since the mid-1990s. It’s on the World Health Organization’s list of essential medicines for several parasitic diseases and, like many other drugs, ivermectin is used off-label for other diseases and conditions
In addition to being antiparasitic, ivermectin also has potent antiviral properties and has even been shown to protect against SARS-CoV-2 spike protein damage

…It appears Oklahoma’s KFOR news was the first to run a fake story that made this false narrative explode. September 1, 2021, KFOR reported that emergency rooms were overrun with patients who had overdosed on horse ivermectin. The claim was supposedly made by doctor Dr. Jason McElyea. According to KFOR:
“Dr. McElyea said patients are packing his eastern and southeastern Oklahoma hospitals after taking ivermectin doses meant for a full-sized horse, because they believed false claims the horse de-wormer could fight COVID-19. ‘The ERs are so backed up that gunshot victims were having hard times getting to facilities where they can get definitive care and be treated,’ he said.”

                Fake news alert

Other media outlets ran with the story, including Rolling Stone magazine, The Daily Mail, theIndependent, Newsweek, The Guardian, Yahoo News— which later published a story saying a hospital was “disputing” the claim — and MSNBC’s Rachael Madow.

There was just one problem. It was a fake story. A few days after the story made major media rounds, the Sequoyah Northeastern Health System issued a public notice and posted it on its website homepage, dismissing McElyea’s claims as pure fiction:

    • PS – While no adverse reaction or death due to vaccine complications is good, to my point above, using an old number from a few months ago of 184 million fully vaccinated in the US, if the cited above statistic of 726,000 adverse reactions is correct, that would mean less than 0.5% adverse reactions with a death rate far less. Again, no deaths are preferable, but no medication, vaccine or surgery can claim perfection. I agree the vaccines were brought to market quickly given the pandemic, but I have read lessons are being learned. I also do not want to besmirch the tragedy of anyone losing someone due to the vaccines, but far, far more have benefitted. Keith

  5. This is what I know. In Alberta right now our hospitals are so full of Covid cases, with one in five in the ICU, that mainstream medicine is no longer being practised. Except for high-emergency surgeries, beds are being given to Covid patients ahead of anyone else. What I want to know is, why are people with a disease they chose not to protect themselves against receiving priority over people who did not choose to get sick? Normally I am all in favour of everyone getting treated under the same rules, but that is not the situation right now. All patients need health care, but we are giving that care to people who chose to risk their lives over people who did not make that choice. As far as I am concerned, the people who chose the risks also chose the possibility they might contract Covid, and the consequences that come with that choice. Make them stay at home and take care of themselves. That is what they wanted. Give it to them.
Meanwhile, give the hospital beds to people who did not choose to need them. Prioritise patients by their willingness to risk not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them. Their rights were more important than others’ lives, so let then deal with it. Give the beds to the vaccinated. At least they are not risking the health of the medical professionals trying to help them.

    • This article was one I wrote a few days ago. My friend is now at home resting. She read what I wrote and said the occupancy rate of the hospital was not a bit accurate.
A friend of mine came out of a hospital in Miami-Dade county yesterday. She had first gone to a Urgent Care that did 4 COVID tests. The 4th one showed positive. [How many tests does one have to do to get to the positive one?] She was put on the COVID floor at the hospital. Fortunately, she had a doctor who was fine with her not having taken The Shot. She was given an intravenous cocktail and put on steroids for a week.

The point I want to make is that she says the hospital was EMPTY. She saw nobody in the hallways. I looked up statistics and the I.C.U. occupancy rate in this hospital is listed as 88%. The number of COVID patients is listed as 59. Her doctor would not tell her whether she had a severe case of the flu or COVID.

I’m sure she was listed as a COVID patient. Hospital higher ups want as many COVID patients listed as possible so the hospital can make more money.

      From The New York Times:

See the latest charts and maps of coronavirus cases, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

How to protect yourself and others from Covid-19

Getting vaccinated is an important way to protect yourself and others from getting Covid. Because of very high Covid-19 transmission in Miami-Dade County right now, unvaccinated people are at a very high risk. Vaccinated people are at lower risk. Here’s how to lower your personal risk of getting sick and protect your community, based on the current local transmission rate, according to public health experts…

      • Fortunately, she had a doctor who was fine with her not having taken The Shot. And what was s/he going to do? Ream her out for being so stupid? Hardly. S/He’s a professional and more likely, s/he vented his frustration in private. Unless, of course, s/he was swayed by some of the oh-so-convincing news sources you have referenced … !!

      • Maybe the hospitals in the States are empty, though I doubt it. In Alberta, Canada they are full. Why don’t you come up here and see for yourself. Then you won’t have to believe someone like me. You can see it with your own eyes!

    • It is called triage and we have done it since there was medicine. I agree. Decisions have consequences.

      • Yes, it is called triage. And doctors and nurses up do not want to have to deal with it, but they say they are only days away. AT 1500 plus new cases every day, 80% of them unvaccinated, the hospitals are reaching the overfill mark. Medical personnel do not want to play god. But our lacklustre conservative provincial government refuses to take responsibility for the problem they created by opening up for summer. The doctors warned them not to, but they didn’t listen. Now we have a tragedy happening here, and they are hiding their heads in the oil-filled tar sands. Nope, nothing happening here!

        • Nobody wants to do triage but it was invented, I believe, in war time when there were soldiers who could be saved and soldiers who could not be. It isn’t as if care is being refused, it is a matter of what care is given to which people. The unvaccinated are less likely to survive, so the vaccinated should be treated ahead of them, no? Throwing healthcare around randomly is not helping the most people.

          • It doesn’t seem to be random right now. If you got Covid you have a free pass to a hospital bed. I find that deeply disturbing.
