  2. We’re all sold out down here in Georgia. I stopped at a couple of stores on the way to get my tattoo today. Can’t find it anywhere.

    • Be nice to your Mom. My Mom was a die hard republican although I don’t know if she would recognize her party today.

      • When things reach the point of “winning is all that matters,” or the ends justify ALL means… then even depravity is turned upside down and redefined Steve.

        • Yeah, I was raised to be optimistic as “Progress was our most important product” as the ad campaign went. This is a sorry effing political state if there ever was one. I came through the 60’s for this? WTF?

  4. At what stage will the Republican party, the CIA or the FBI or one of the authorities in Washington actually remove Trump and place him into a padded cell? His stupid off the cuff comments are more dangerous than any virus.

I am ignorant regarding your system of government, however if our Prime Minister were to spout this crap, he would be removed immediately by his own party members. In fact Prime Ministers have been removed simply because the party lost confidence in them.

    • Many of us have wondered the very same thing!!!

Part of it is because Trump has lots of cronies in Congress that “protect” him. Anyone that tries to undermine anything he does gets “removed” from their position — either out the door or demoted where they no longer have any influence. Since most politicians like the money and power that comes with the job, they tend to lay low and not cross him.

Unfortunately, all this has given him much more power than he rightfully should have.

Many of this believe he will eventually get his comeuppance when he leaves office because there are all sorts of legal actions pending against him. Of course, getting him out the door is the problem …

    • This is the problem, his own party members had a chance to rein him in. They had tremendous leverage over Mr. Trump with the impeachment vote in the Senate. They could have scared the bejeezus out of him (“Gee, I don’t know Mr. President, we may not have the votes now …”) but they didn’t and apparently have proven they have no interest in reining him in. While Mr. Trump is doing his Distractor in Chief bit, the GOP is going bonkers behind the scenes, giving away trillions of dollars to the rich, cutting environmental and labor regulations, etc. So, the havoc cannot be blamed entirely upon Trump. He is not bright enough to pull off most of this stuff, and doesn’t have an interest in doing so in any case, so it is the Republican Party who is the main villain here.

  5. Brilliant! Exactly what we need right now. Is the orange idiot going first? I mean after all he is the one who is supposed to be setting an example.
