Well, Now They Know

In the news was this: “A furious Donald Trump cut short his attendance at the NATO summit in London after a group of leaders, including Boris Johnson, was caught on video ridiculing the US president at Buckingham Palace for staging lengthy press conferences.” (Source: The Guardian)

So now they know how to get rid of them. Next time there is a confab, don’t be surprised if they don’t stage the Trump chit chat right at the beginning, giving them the hope of having a productive meeting, without the Great Disruptor.

The cardinal rules of politics include “never let them see you sweat,” and “never let them know what your real motivations are.” Since Trump is only a politician by definition, he is unaware of these things. Interestingly, the same principles apply to high-level business, which shows that Trump is only a businessman by definition also.

  1. Let’s face it, the man is an outright fraud, and he’s desperately afraid that this will become generally known. He’s proven himself utterly incompetent at everything he’s done. His “business empire” would have come down around his ears if his father hadn’t bailed him out more than once. In one case his father pumped a huge amount of money into donald’s failing gambling business by “losing” a huge amount of money, in cash, at one of his casinos. If I remember right they got busted for tax fraud for that one. Banks have continued to prop him up because if they didn’t continue to loan him money he’d go bankrupt and they lose hundreds of millions in failed loans.

A good example of how incompetent he and his administration is is the new NAFTA treaty, the USMCA. This “beautiful” deal is basically NAFTA with a few more bits added to it. 95% of it is exactly the same as NAFTA. And according to the analysis I’ve seen the US is going to come out on the short end to the tune of losing $800 million on the deal.

  2. Well, in the only financial disclosure info we have on him, he was the US’s biggest single individual LOOSER in whatever year it was. The man is an abject failure. Can you even imagine just how bad at business you have to be to bankrupt a fucking casino?

    • I was astonished that the Dems didn’t harp on this during the 2016 election. The man claims to be worth billions but won’t release his tax returns (and has lied about his income and wealth a lot).

Think about how fed up with the status quo we must have been to have elected this loser! If the Dems offer another icon of the status quo (e.g. Biden), expect another four years of Trump.

      • It’s really curious how he’s survived all of the scandals. It isn’t just the sexual misconduct things (I believe there are now at least 15 women who have accused him of sexual assault and even outright rape, one who was a girl of fourteen at the time it happened). It’s the business issues. One of his companies was convicted of racial discrimination in its rental policies. Then there was the fake “Trump University” that was an outright scam that bilked students out of millions, convictions for nonpayment of contractors on buildings, credible accusations of dealings with organized crime – the list goes on and on.

I too am afraid of what’s going to happen if Biden is nominated. He’s dull, old, unimaginative, not passionate about anything, and entirely unable to energize people to get them off their butts and go vote.

        • Don’t forget, he was just fined $2 million for stealing from his own charity and banned from ever administering one again. Read that slowly: The President of the United States is banned from operating a charity.

          That.
          Is.
          Astonishing.

          • Well, his superpower is to dull the sense of outrage we should feel at every one of these outrageous acts.

      • The great hope is that the impeachment will turn into a tRump rout. Put that SOB out. There is so much shit behind the tRump wall of obstruction that when it bursts his cronies and enablers will smell of it. GROG

        • But he has an entire crew of unscrupulous senators backing him up. He will get impeached, but not convicted is my best guess. I do hope the Repubs embarrass themselves mightily in the Senate trail.

          • I just can’t give up on the hope that this disgusting example of a homo sapien is convicted and publicly shamed. And, for his enablers to share the shame. We will soon know.

      • He is a very effective con, always playing distraction, and the Dems don’t know how to focus on one simple line of attack. Labelling him America’s Biggest Looser, and repeating it 10,000 times, is all it would have taken. Hell, you could do a series of Swift Boat attack ads, except the people telling the stories wouldn’t be lying.

  3. As bad as the orange haired rodent who occupies our white house is, just think how bloody damn stupid the morons who voted for him must feel. Well, if they feel anything.
I bet it takes some really serious business skills to own two casinos and have them both go bust. WTF!! Owning a casino is even better than having control of the bloody Federal Reserve. A casino is as close to being allowed to print money as a person can get.
Yes, the orange haired rodent is dangerous because he seems to still have the brain dead of ‘Merikkka on his side. We could be in for another civil war.
As to the donkey gang ever growing a spine and a brain, well, it will not happen in what is left of my life.
Old Nikki K was wrong. Way back he said he’d bury us. Even when he said that I figured he meant the old, now gone Soviet Union. I bet if he could see what our country has devolved to, he be laughing until the very end of time and it cost the USSR/Russia next to nothing. We did it to ourselves.

    • He might be burying us in bullshit, fake news, internet trolls, and propaganda. Way cheaper than burying in soil.

  4. What a great way to start morning coffer with. Laughed my derrière off with such insightful commentary. I remember being in NYC on Oct 19 1987 (an Army Recruiter with Lower Manhattan as my area of responsibility) As everyone was freaking out, the Trumpster proclaimed he was happy because it allowed him to restructure his debts! As noted he owed so much that if he was foreclosed, the banks would lose at least interest payments! I know we all laughed about him being such a joke and shook our heads in wonder at the state our country was in. But it was the Reagan years.
