Christians Wage War, Lose, Then Claim Discrimination

The Great Christian Spin machine is working overtime. Yesterday I shared the story of a Christian missionary who broke the law in trying to sell Christ to the indigenous people on an island near India and got his ass killed for his effort. Now a Christian group claims that this is all part of the war on Christianity.

Christian Group Wants Native Tribe “Brought to Justice” for Death of Missionary

Has Fox (Sic) News infected everyone or is this another tail wags dog story that looks as if it were manufactured by Fox? Clearly the Christian Spin machine has been operating far longer than has Fox.

  1. If they had any sense of history, they could claim it as an honorable death. After all, the guy was following in the footsteps of all those dedicated Christians who believed they had the right to impose their religion — and values — and diseases — on others.

  2. Fox should be removed from the air.

  3. This impinges on the knotty problem how responsible are we for those who chose , for whatever reason , to risk their lives.
Today we can risk our lives simply by being in some countries let alone voicing opinions that may be seen as interfering with the way the country is run.
I suspect this crazy man would have been killed regardless of his reason for going to this hostile place . However it smells of revenge to me when it should be ‘ turn the other cheek ‘ .

  4. Why instead of whining about persecution, I thought they would be glorying in another martyr heading to glory! All that is missing is the virgins waiting! Oops wrong religion!

  5. The people who killed this maroon should be left alone. If you read the article about this idiot, you’d know they even shoot arrows at Indian Air Force helicopters. They do not want nor allow outsiders to trespass on their island.
As the Barbra Billingsly (spelling?) character said in the first “Airplane” movie; Chomp don’t want no hep, chomp don’t get no hep.
The newspaper linked article also made it clear to me that one must get special permission to set foot on that island. Looks like another over eager clown/maroon, just went off on his own. Hey, why not? The maroon had Jesus with him and a holly buy-bull in his hands.

    • Whoa, nice Airplane quote. The Barbara Billingsly rap was one of the most memorable.

  6. Thanks for the compliment. I may be nearly useless, but I still do remember some things. Most of what I remember usually are not what some want me to remember. Ah well, to those folks all I can say is; tough beans and hard cheese. (That was me being very polite. I can and do say much nastier things, often.)
