Obamacare Launch Problems? Ho-hum.

Republicans are making a big deal about the launch problems of the Obamacare “Insurance Exchanges,” but once again have overplayed their hand. Americans have been preparing for decades to deal with crashing computers and frustrating software during program rollouts; you see most computers run on Microsoft Windows.

  1. Hell, i have troubles here loading up Google on Chrome… seems like an odd problem to have.

    • It never amazes me that we buy a computer and then have to buy computer software to make it work (an operating system). Bill gates genius was to waylay the movement to make op. systems free (like Linux). Imagine buying a car and then finding out you have to go to a different vendor to buy software to make it work, then have to buy upgrades, etc.

  2. It seems like most websites suffer some dysfunction when an item comes online that is popular with large amounts of people. It’ll get fixed long before the February due date that everyone is supposed to be signed up by.

    • I am appalled that so many people thought it a good idea to “check it out” on Day 1. That’s a little like going to a brand new theme park on Opening Day and complaining about the crowds.
