Prove It Mr. Boehner!

Speaker of the House John Boehner has just stated “there are not enough votes for a “clean” spending bill to end the shutdown.” I say, prove it. Bring the Senate Bill to the floor of the House and let people vote on it. Either there are enough votes for it or there are not. If there are, end of problem. If there are not, we will know who is who in this contest.

  1. I watch Raul Labrador (what a name!) last night dodge this question repeatedly. He kept saying “It’s not necessary, there aren’t enough votes.” Cooper, in his wisdom, kept repeating, “Then have the vote and prove your talking point.”

            • I won’t ask you for when and where details as I know they are secret … and invisible, but I am sure you will hear a voice which will give you orders when the time is right.

  2. Boehner just means there aren’t enough REPUBLICAN votes to pass a clean bill. There may very well be enough in the entire House. And a majority of the House is MUCH more representative of the country than a majority of the majority is.
