WTF? Manifestations of an Insecure God

Well, I have always thought that God was a Republican, but now I am sure of it.

According to one blogger the only reason we are here as worshipers of Yahweh. This is how he put it “How does one become a true worshiper of God? You must first understand that you were created by God for the sole purpose of worshiping Him (Psalms 95:1-7a, 145:10-12; Romans 12:1-2). But, when mankind (through Adam and Eve) divorced itself from God by choosing to fulfill its own selfish desires rather than fulfilling His perfect desire, a dislocation took place (sin) that separated the Creator from His creation.”

Hello? You mean that Yahweh was so weak that he needed to create an entire race of beings just to worship him? What kind of sick puppy are you owning up to? I wonder what a good psychology department would have to say about an all-powerful, all-knowing being that need praise and sacrifice. This is pathetic. No pretense of having ideas that would win the hearts and minds of people? No idea of earning the worship of inferior beings? No, we were purpose created. As worshipers. We have no other reason to exist.

Well, apparently God does have a plan for us.

  1. It really is insane when you peel it back. Hell, you don’t even have to dig, just scratch the surface with a half-functioning brain cell and this god fella is a complete failure of a deity. Pantheons were far more believable: a dysfunctional extended family, vice, violence… that makes sense.

    • Imagine having so little self-esteem that you make little clay people, not to keep you company, or play with, but to worship you. Revolting. Who could be proud of such a god?
